Project Summary:
This project has the objective of developing a targeted approach towards addressing the specific needs of the communities living in the Southern Harbour Region, specifically in Valletta. The project is based on the following actions:
- Social Housing rehabilitation, including the creation/upgrading of open spaces and the promotion of environmental and sustainable practices;
- Enhancing educational and communal amenities to maximise the potential of citizens;
- Investing in cultural assets and new attractions, such as the restoration of street shrines;
- Improving accessibility for economic expansion;
- Stimulating a business-friendly environment, such as through the Valletta Design Cluster.
